Hi, I'm Camilo, a versatile IT professional based in the US with a passion for technology, design, and human-centered service. I’m fluent in Spanish (native), English (fluent), and French (advanced), which allows me to connect with diverse audiences across the globe.
In my role as a Coach for Technical Support teams at Teleperformance, I trained bilingual agents supporting streaming services with over 177 million subscribers. My focus was on empowering teams with top-tier technical expertise and exceptional customer service skills. Prior to stepping into my role as a Coach, I worked as a tech support agent, consistently maintaining over a 96% customer satisfaction score.
My academic background in Philosophy at the University of Antioquia sharpened my analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and creativity. I later deepened my design expertise through Google’s Professional UX Design course, blending my love for the humanities, art, and cutting-edge technology.
Before diving into tech support, I gained hands-on experience in cell phone and computer repair, which helped me develop a comprehensive understanding of technology from both the hardware and software perspectives. This holistic knowledge informs my approach to problem-solving, ensuring I provide thoughtful and effective solutions.
Collaboration fuels my creativity. I thrive in team environments where ideas flow freely. I’m particularly excited by design and technology that prioritize sustainability and human impact.
In addition to my technical and design work, I am a published poet, writer, and translator. I had the honor of representing Colombia at the 2024 Medellín International Poetry Festival, where I shared the stage with poets from 40 countries.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, writing, and playing music (guitar, piano, and kena flute). I also love hiking with my wife and our dog, Luna, and finding inspiration in nature.
