Hi, my name is Camilo.
I am a UX designer, writer, and researcher based in Medellín, Colombia.
I am a native speaker of Spanish, and I’m fluent in English (C2). I also study French (B2).
After studying Philosophy as an undergrad at the University of Antioquia, my interest in humanities led me to a career in design.
Throughout Google’s Professional UX Design course, I discovered new ways to incorporate my passion for the humanities, art and technology. I learned the skills to design accessible, interactive and responsive websites and apps — from research to ideation and wireframing, as well as the creation of mock-ups and high fidelity prototypes.
I studied best design practices, and how to apply them using tools like Adobe XD, Figma, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Creativity flourishes when working with a team. I enjoy working with people and collaborating on creative projects.
I’m inspired by advances in design and technology that align with sustainable development.
In my free time, I like to read, write, and play music (guitar, piano, and kena flute). I also enjoy going on hikes with my wonderful wife and our dog, Luna.
Thank you
